Spring Nettle Harvest and Winter Storage

If you think stinging nettles are just a nuisance, think again! These remarkable plants are a natural multivitamin, deeply nourishing and regenerative for almost all of your body’s systems. Come join us for an afternoon of getting to know this nutritive “grandmother plant,” one dear to every herbalist’s heart. This spring nettle harvest will be followed by an opportunity to blanch or bunch your plants before taking them home to hang and/or freeze for year-long use! Nettles are a nutritive herb, one that can be dried and used as a daily infusion, a traditional Tibetan nettle soup (recipe provided), tinctures, teas and more.
